Reconciliation (feat. Phoenix Pastro) starts with a voice sample from a podcast discussing Aboriginal reconciliation in Australia and how there is still a long way to go. This inspired me to write a tune with a merging of sounds from different cultures, taking some inspiration from anime-inspired sounds as well as jazz and electronic music. I also got my friend Phoenix to solo on this track which is my favourite part of the song.

Kay was released at the end of June 2020, being inspired by the Canadian producer Kaytranada. It is the third track in my monthly singles, and was well-received by local Adelaide radio stations.

This track started with the drum track which is a sample of Yussef Dayes. He is a musician I was really getting into at the time and wanted to add a groove of his into a song of mine. From there I got the energy for The Flood and wrote lyrics from that too.

Patience in Anchorage was the first track from my planned monthly releases. I was inspired to make this song after listening to some of Jordan Rakei's tracks, and I tried to emulate the space and groove I heard from that style. I also tested out some more vocals on this track, something I am still developing.

Gallery was the second track from my monthly single releases, and secretly written during an online university class. For me, this track was all about space with a driving groove, provided by a sample of the drummer Yussef Dayes whose playing I have been really enjoying.

Stay Steady (feat. Alpha Brown) is a track I made with a couple high school friends, something we were working on in the last days of high school. This song always brings back memories of that time for me, and I always enjoy the silly yet serious raps produced by Vitamin B and Alpha Brown.

Where to Fall was my first release, and EP made in the winter and spring of 2019. This EP was put together with three covers, Losing My Way by Tom Misch & FKJ, Tadow by Masego & FKJ, and Waiting by Mac Ayres. These were songs I made a live performance for using looping, which gave me a style to base the rest of my EP on.
